StackFood version 8.0 has brought with it brand-new features and a few new improvements to elevate the journey for customers, restaurant owners, and overall business.
Feature List of StackFood v8.0:
– Dine-in feature for better customer experience
– Upgraded search and filter options for easier and more accurate navigation.
Let’s explore the detailed updates included in this version:
Dine-in Feature for Better Customer Experience
Through the dine-in feature, customers can order dine-in meals from their homes using the StackFood app. Admin can enable and disable the dine-in option.
When the admin enables the dine-in toggle, the option will be enabled for all the stakeholders. Disabling the toggle by the admin removes the option for everyone.
When the admin activates the dine-in option, the restaurant panel gets the ability to enable or disable the option as per their business policy.
When dine-in is enabled for a specific restaurant, it becomes visible on the user app. If not enabled, the dine-in option for that particular restaurant won’t appear.
If the dine-in option is enabled by the admin or restaurant panel, the user web will show that under “Delivery Option”. The customer will be required to insert an estimated arrival date, time, contact person name, and number to place the order.
After placing the order user will get a pop-up notification.
To manage dine-in order, token numbers, and table numbers play an important role. Dine-in customers may receive a token and table number when they place an order. These numbers help the restaurant staff track and manage orders efficiently. Both the admin and restaurant owner have the freedom to assign tokens and table numbers.
Once the admin or restaurant owner confirms these numbers, he receives a notification.
The system also notifies the customer about their assigned table and token number.
Customers can also contact with restaurant through calls or messages.
Customers can also track the restaurant on the map.
When the restaurant assigns the token and table number a notification pops up in the user app.
Once the table number and token number are confirmed, a new section showing the table and token details is displayed in the user app as well as in the web app.
Upgraded Search and Filter Options for Easier Navigation
The search functionality has been significantly improved to help users find their dishes more easily. Customers can see a “recommended” section that shows suggestions based on their favorite store, items, popular search, and preferences. Customers can also search by cuisine, category, and restaurant.
